Strip/Kickplate Installation Surfside MIA

This project involved the final installation of the bottom strip, or kickplate, for a newly installed dishwasher. . This final step ensures a finished, professional look, conceals wiring and plumbing, and completes the appliance installation.

The new dishwasher was already in place, leveled, and secured under the countertop. The bottom strip/kickplate and all necessary mounting hardware were located from the dishwasher’s packaging.

The kickplate was fastened to the dishwasher frame using the provided clips, ensuring it was aligned correctly and securely attached. The strip was adjusted to fit snugly against the floor and the base of the dishwasher, concealing the leveling legs, wires, and plumbing connections beneath the unit.

The completed installation was inspected to ensure a seamless, finished appearance that blended with the surrounding cabinetry.
