Santa Fe Ultra MD33 in-wall Dehumidifier Installation Coral Gable

This project involved the professional installation of a new Santa Fe Ultra MD33 in-wall dehumidifier.

The goal was to seamlessly integrate the unit into the wall cavity to provide continuous and discreet moisture control, improving indoor air quality and comfort. A stud finder was used to locate and mark the space between two interior wall studs

A dedicated 15A electrical circuit was prepared for the unit. The power wiring was either hardwired directly into the unit or a new 110V outlet was installed inside the wall cavity, following all local electrical codes. The provided drain hose was connected to the unit and routed with a continuous downward slope to an appropriate drain location

The unit was securely fastened to the wall studs using the provided wood screws, ensuring it was level and stable. The electrical connections were completed, and the drain hose was securely attached then the front diffuser cover was installed, concealing the unit and giving it a clean, finished appearance.

Finally, the unit was powered on and tested to confirm that it was operating correctly, pulling moisture from the air and draining properly without any leaks.
