Small Concrete Repair Miami

This project involved the professional repair of a small, damaged section of a concrete median. The goal was to remove the compromised concrete, prepare the area, and pour new concrete to restore the median’s structural integrity, safety, and appearance.

The work area was cordoned off with safety cones or barriers to protect both workers and passing vehicles. The damaged section of the concrete median was carefully broken up and removed using a demolition hammer. Then, new rebar was placed within the form to match the existing reinforcement, providing tensile strength to the new concrete and preventing future cracking.

Pre-mixed concrete was poured into the form, ensuring it was evenly distributed and completely filled. The concrete was screeded to level it with the surrounding median and then floated to create a smooth, dense surface. A broom finish was applied to match the texture of the existing median, providing a non-slip surface. The edges were then finished with an edger tool for a clean, rounded appearance
