- Furniture Assembly
This project involved the construction of a tall, narrow storage cabinet featuring a hanging rod, open shelving, and a two-drawer base. The assembly was completed with a focus on structural rigidity and functional precision.
The vertical side panels and top/bottom gables were connected using industrial-grade cam-lock fasteners and dowels, ensuring a square, wobble-free frame.Secured the rear panel with precision to ensure the unit maintains vertical integrity and provides a clean aesthetic against the wall.
Installed the integrated clothing rod at the calculated height to allow for optimal clearance of garments within the main cabinet section. Assembled the drawer boxes using heavy-duty slides, ensuring that both drawers operate with a smooth, silent glide and sit flush against the cabinet frame when closed.
The single door was mounted using high-quality adjustable hinges. These were fine-tuned to ensure a consistent, narrow gap between the door and the cabinet frame, guaranteeing smooth operation and a professional, “seamless” look. The unit was placed and leveled to compensate for any flooring irregularities, ensuring the drawers do not “drift” open.
