Wood Lattice Installation Doral, FL

This project involved the custom installation of decorative wood lattice panels along the open sides or underneath an exterior staircase.  The primary goal was to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the stairs, provide a finished look, and potentially deter small animals from nesting underneath, while allowing for air circulation

Detailed measurements were taken of the areas requiring lattice installation, including the height, length, and any angles or irregularities of the stair stringers.A design plan was established, determining the type of lattice , the framing method, and how the lattice panels would be secured to the existing stair structure.

High-quality, exterior-grade wood lattice panels were sourced and corresponding wood framing materials were cut to create sturdy frames for each lattice panel. All wood components (lattice and framing) were pre-treated with a weather-resistant stain, sealant, or exterior paint for added durability and aesthetic uniformity, as per client specifications.

Each lattice panel was securely fastened within its custom-cut wooden frame using appropriate fasteners. Finally, the framed lattice panels were securely attached to the existing exterior stair structure  using exterior-grade screws. Care was taken to ensure each panel was level, plumb, and seamlessly integrated with the overall staircase design
