Kit Flush Replacement in Biscayne, FL

This project involved the complete replacement of the toilet tank’s internal filling and flushing mechanism.  The installation ensures a reliable, airtight, and water-efficient operation.

Removed the aged fill valve, flapper, and related hardware that were causing intermittent flushing issues and potential leaks. Cleaned the tank interior and mounting surfaces to ensure a secure, watertight seal for the new components.Installed a new high-performance fill valve to ensure rapid and quiet tank refilling.

Attached a new flapper and calibrated the lift chain to the handle arm, ensuring the perfect amount of slack for a consistent, complete flush without premature leakage.  Calibrated the fill valve to achieve the optimal water level as marked within the tank, maximizing flushing power while conserving water.

Finally, conducted multiple test flushes to confirm the seal of the new flapper against the flush valve and verified that the fill valve shuts off completely at the target water level.
