This project involved the professional repair of damaged fascia. The goal was to remove the compromised sections, install new material, and finish it to protect the underlying structure and restore it.
The extent of the damaged fascia was assessed. This included checking for rot, water damage, or pest-related issues. The damaged sections of the existing fascia board were carefully detached and removed then new fascia board material was precisely measured and cut to match the dimensions of the removed sections.
The new fascia board was securely nailed or screwed to the ends of the rafter tails, ensuring a tight, flush fit and proper alignment with the rest of the roofline. All joints were carefully sealed to prevent water intrusion.
The new fascia was primed and painted with a high-quality, weather-resistant paint to match the existing trim, providing a clean and finished look. The work area was thoroughly cleaned of all old materials, debris, and sawdust, leaving the site tidy.
