- Furniture Assembly
This project involved the systematic unboxing, structural construction, and hardware calibration of a multi-functional upholstered daybed featuring tufted accent panels, decorative nailhead trim, and an independent under-bed trundle frame.
The high-back tufted rear panel and sloped side arms were mechanically fastened to the primary steel and wood support chassis, ensuring square alignment across all corners. Utilized industrial-grade structural bolts to secure the primary load-bearing joints, ensuring zero wobble or frame deflection under active weight capacities. Assembly was conducted on a non-abrasive surface to protect the delicate velvet upholstery and decorative chrome nailhead trim from scuffs or floor friction.
Anchored a multi-slat wooden support system directly to the interior frame rails using precision wood screws. Spaced the independent wooden slats uniformly across the upper bed frame to create an even foundation for a standard twin mattress, eliminating the requirement for a separate box spring and assembled the secondary under-bed trundle drawer system, testing the low-profile wheel tracking on the luxury vinyl plank flooring.
Conducted a final round of tightness checks on all internal structural brackets and fasteners. Finally, removed all heavy protective cardboard, styrofoam inserts, and hardware packaging, leaving the room instantly ready for mattress placement.
