- drywall repair
This job focused on removing non-standard wall coverings and restoring the wall substrate to a professional, “like-new” condition behind the toilet tank
The outdated PVC paneling was carefully detached from the area behind the toilet tank to prevent damage to the underlying adjacent vanity. All old adhesive residues and debris were cleared to ensure a stable foundation for the new wall material.
New moisture-resistant sheetrock was custom cut and installed to fill the void, ensuring a flush fit with the surrounding wall. The piece was securely fastened to the wall studs, providing a durable and permanent solution.Joint compound was applied across the seams to eliminate any visible gaps between the new patch and the original wall.
Once dryed, the area was mechanically sanded to a perfectly smooth texture, removing any ridges or imperfections for a seamless finish. The new drywall was primed to ensure uniform paint absorption and moisture protection. Finally, two coats of paint were applied to match the existing wall color and sheen, resulting in a clean, professional look that makes the repair invisible.
