Drywall Repair Doral, FL

This project involved the professional repair of damaged drywall. The goal was to seamlessly restore the wall surface to its original condition.

The damaged area was thoroughly inspected to determine the extent and nature of the drywall issue and the surrounding area and flooring were carefully protected with drop cloths and painter’s tape to prevent dust and debris contamination.

Any loose or compromised drywall was precisely cut out and removed, creating clean, defined edges for the repair then a new piece of drywall was accurately cut to fit the prepared opening. The patch was then securely fastened to the installed backing or framing using drywall screws, ensuring it was perfectly flush with the surrounding wall surface.

A thin, even layer of joint compound  was applied over the seams of the new patch and after the initial coat dried, additional thin layers of joint compound were applied. Each layer of joint compound was allowed to dry completely between applications. The final coat of joint compound was meticulously sanded to a super smooth finish, ready for primer and paint.
