Door Lock Replacement in Doral, FL

The project involved the installation and upgrade of entry door hardware on a white-framed glass paneled exterior door. The previous hardware was replaced with a modern, brushed metal suite to enhance both security and aesthetics.

A high-security, single-cylinder deadbolt with a brushed nickel finish was installed at the top position. The standard round knob was replaced with a modern straight lever-style handle featuring a square rose (the base plate). All visible components, including the latch plates on the door’s edge, feature a matching brushed stainless steel or nickel finish for a cohesive look.

The deadbolt and lever handle were vertically aligned and properly seated against the door face then the latch and deadbolt strike plates were mortised into the door edge.

There is visible evidence of the previous hardware’s footprint (slight discoloration/scuffing) around the new deadbolt, indicating this was a retrofit replacement rather than a new door installation.
