Drywall Repair

This project involved the professional repair of damaged drywall. The goal was to seamlessly restore the wall’s surface, making the repaired area structurally sound, smooth, and ready for priming and painting.

The damaged drywall section  was carefully assessed. Loose or compromised material was removed, cutting back to solid drywall and ensuring the edges were clean and straight. A new piece of drywall was precisely cut to match the size and shape of the removed section. Then this new piece of drywall was then securely installed using drywall screws, ensuring they penetrated into the existing studs.

All seams around the newly installed patch were covered with drywall joint tape. Once the first coat of mud was completely dry, it was lightly sanded to remove any high spots or imperfections. After the final coat of mud was dry, the entire repaired area was meticulously sanded until it was perfectly smooth and flush with the surrounding wall. Care was taken to avoid over-sanding.

Finally. the area was then wiped clean of all drywall dust, and painted. All tools were cleaned, and all debris was removed from the work area.
