This job involved the complete and successful installation of one ceiling fan in the designated room, ensuring proper mounting, wiring, and safe operation.
The electrical circuit powering the installation area was de-energized at the main breaker panel for safety then the correct electrical wires (hot, neutral, ground) were confirmed or pulled to the box location and the fan’s mounting bracket was secured firmly to the fan-rated electrical box.
The fan’s electrical leads were connected to the building’s wiring using wire nuts, strictly adhering to the fan’s specific wiring diagram. The fan motor assembly was lifted and hung onto the mounting bracket, securing it in place. The fan blades were attached to the blade holders/irons, and these were then securely fastened to the motor housing
The pull chains were attached, and any wall switches, remote control receivers, or speed controllers were installed and wired into the appropriate junction box. Finally, the fan was tested at all speed settings, and the light kit was tested for both on/off functionality and brightness.
