This project involved the professional assembly of a new electric Canyon bike . The goal was to fully assemble the bicycle from its boxed components, ensuring all parts were correctly installed, adjusted for safety, and ready for immediate use.
The bicycle box was carefully opened, and all components were removed and inventoried against the manufacturer’s packing list. Components like the seat post and saddle were installed and adjusted to an initial height. The handlebars and stem were attached to the fork steerer tube, ensuring correct orientation and initial tightening
Wheels were correctly installed into the frame and fork dropouts, ensuring quick-release skewers or axle nuts were properly tightened. Brake cables/hydraulic lines were routed correctly, connected, and adjusted to ensure proper lever feel and strong, responsive braking without rubbing then pedals were threaded into the crank arms.
Front and rear derailleurs were installed and precisely adjusted to ensure smooth, accurate, and consistent gear shifting across all cogs and chainrings. Limit screws were set for safety. Finally, all bolts and fasteners across the entire bicycle were systematically checked and torqued to manufacturer specifications using a torque wrench where critical.
